How to Heal the Planet

“It is possible that the next Buddha will not take the form of an individual. The next Buddha may take the form of a community, a community practicing understanding and loving kindness, a community practicing mindful living. This may be the most important thing we can do for the survival of the earth.
―Thich Nhat Hahn

The bad news is that there is a loong way to go. The good news is that all the answers to our problems are already here, within us and the surrounding enviroment. They just have to be utilized. We have to keep pushing the boundaries. We have to tip the collective consciousness over towards love, justice and peace. And we have to do it before it’s too late.

Please understand: Our planet has been through 5 major extinctions. Today, a new extinction phase is in process. Humanity’s highly ignorant ways of extracting energy and profit from the planet are exacerbating the extinctuon process. Deforestation, logging, raising masses of animals for the food industry, driving cars that run on fuel, etc. All of this kills nature, animals and eventually, it will kill us too.

You see, the Earth is abundant in resources for human need, but not human greed. Today, we manage our resources wastefully, as if they will last forever, as if they have no effect on our ecology. We do this in order to keep cyclical consumption. That is, we make small changes on things like phones and automobiles to keep pumping out sales. This creates false scarcity, demand and waste. In a society of abundance, greed is superseded. The basis for violence, secrecy and dishonesty would be outgrown in an abundant, sharing community. It’s time to think about our future as a species. Do we want to keep fighting, killing our planet and ourselves? There is a better future we can create. One where everyone is looked after equally, the opposite of what is done now, where the purpose of the system is purely profit.

Greedy tendencies are not natural to humanity. But theres a certain thing that happens to a human as they grow up. They adapt to their environment. Some see their poor conditions and become extremists, others businessmen, others conniving snakes willing to screw anyone for a penny, others obedient workers and even others, violent thugs. Children are raised in a cut throat world and MADE to be competitive at every turn.

Here are just some of these steps we can take towards peace:
1. Remove the debt based, central banking system for sound money.
2. Protect people, not corporations. 3. Remove money from politics.
4. Create peace officers and armies.
5. Implement voluntaryism and horizonatilism.
6. Educate our youth based on interests and strengths.
7. Support self sutainable farming and free energy projects like solar trees and vertical community gardens.
8. Make the world and its beauty accessable to all people.
9. Use 3D technology and permaculture to offer material and natural abundance.
